CSoft License Server Setup | Get License to Activate the Server | License Server Ready to Connect
Install and manage the License Server for CSoft Development’s products using the License Server Setup:-
This help describes use of the License Server Setup application, which allows you to:
1. Install and run the License Server for CSoft Development’s products,
2. Obtain network licenses,
3. Upgrade, stop, uninstall and receive information about the License Server,
4. Provide feedback to CSoft Development’s Support Team in case of errors.
An outline of network licensing:-
Do the following to perform network licensing.
Using the License Server Setup:
1. Request and receive at least one network license for any CSoft Development’s product, which should be licensed by network.
2. Install and run the License Server using the obtained network license.
3. Obtain network licenses for other products (if necessary).
4. Add these licenses to the License Server (if necessary).
Using the Registration Wizard:
5. Connect each instance of the software product to the License Server.
Note: The procedure of connecting application to the License Server is described in a special manual on using the Registration Wizard.
To launch the License Server Setup:-
1. Chose a computer on which the License Server should be installed. Such computer must have constant access to a network with activated TCP/IP protocol.
2. In case of using a Hardware Lock (dongle), it is necessary to perform preparatory actions.
3. Start the License Server Setup executable file LicServSetup.exe, from the CD drive or download it.
Note: After the License Server installation, you can start the License Server Setup from the Windows Taskbar.
