After hearing rumors about a new Mac Pro Mini I was thinking how cool it would be if you could connect your new M1 macs to the Mac Mini Pro via USBC / thunderbolt to use it as an eGPU / main computer when you connect your lower powered mac to it, or use it as a standalone desktop as well. This could be why Apple did not support eGPUs with the first round of M1 Macs because they are going to come out with Apple made graphics possessors going forward. The M1 Macbook Air, the Macbook Pro or Mac Mini could connect to the Mac Pro Mini and access its power, like an eGPU and possibly be able to access all the CPU cores of both machines while linked. Or even a new 2021 iPad Pro that might have thunderbolt 3 or 4 would also allow you to also use the Mac Pro Mini as a super powerful hub / computer to be able to draw with your apple pencil in Mac OS X without the need for sidecar, a direct wired connection and the ability to see the mac OS on your ipad pro running basically as a touch screen monitor while also being able to run iPad OS in tandem the future 2021 release of Mac OS which will blur the lines between Macs and iPads even further.
