Are Shaman Tanks Good In Dungeons?? WoW Classic Season of Discovery Wailing Caverns Run
Hello everyone! In this video I try my hand at live-narrating a video while Tanking on my new Shaman alt for the second time in Phase 1 of the the World of Warcraft Classic Season of Discovery by running the Wailing Caverns - WC - Dungeon.
Shaman Tanking is definitely a thing now, and it feels pretty viable, even at this level. They have a single-target Taunt as well as a temporary AoE Taunt with Stoneclaw Totem, pretty solid Mitigation with Shield-Blocking, an interesting kit with new Runes and Talents, and access to a ton of diverse utility Spells.
Unfortunately the group that I was running with was considerably higher leveled, (and impatient towards my constant Skinning and drinking, for which I don't blame them), so this didn't turn out to be the best showcase of all that the Shaman Tank can do. Nonetheless, I do go over some of the key points of Shaman Tanking, and what to do in certain situations. I'm certainly not going to complain about essentially being carried, and honestly it might be a more realistic look at what you might encounter while trying to Tank Dungeons. I'm just not the main character of this run lol.
This obviously isn't the highest level gameplay, but I am really enjoying this new Spec and there were definitely some spicy pulls, so I hope that you enjoy this video and find it useful in some way! =)
