Hi guys. Today I'm going to show you how to format a hard drive so Mac users would be able to have full access (read & write) over the drive. As you may know, most of the hard drives on the market nowadays come with Microsoft's New Technology File System (NTFS) as their default formatting. Although that seems to work perfectly fine for Windows users, it's sort of problematic for Mac users. Apple, for some reason, refused to follow the trend and decided to create their own file system, starting with the original Hierarchical File System (HFS) and eventually introducing the Apple File System (APFS), the default format for Mac OS startup disks nowadays. On top of that, Apple also decided to limit access to NTFS disk drives, which resulted in Mac users not being able to write on a NTFS volume.
