Like many,
I love music
I love the way a sound or melody shifts the entire atmosphere of a room
How one can tell a story or translate emotion through this universal language
Music, is one thing we all have in common
It is not something to hear but rather, something to experience
And we experience this world together
For an Artist,
And we shouldn't saturate this title-
For an Artist,
Music is how one paints a world of perspective
It lays soundtrack to the things we feel
And we feel everything as one
It is one reminder we are not alone in whatever this experience of life is
And life, as complex and trying as it may be
We try nonetheless
We have made drums of sticks and rocks
We've cried at night to quiet melodies
We found happiness dancing alone
And we stored memories inside playlist
So at the end of it all
When we go on to whatever waits at the beginning of the end of our time
Our song will remain as a firm reminder
We were here
