Build your own smart Weather Clock with Arduino! This project displays real-time clock with AM/PM, current date, temperature, and humidity on a 16x2 LCD screen. Perfect for beginners learning Arduino!
📺 What This Project Does:
• Shows time in 12-hour format with AM/PM (02:30PM)
• Displays date in DD/MM/YY format (25/12/24)
• Monitors temperature in Celsius with degree symbol
• Measures humidity percentage
• Shows error message if sensor fails
• Professional startup screen
Components Required:
1. Arduino Uno R3
2. DFR0151 RTC Module (Real Time Clock)
3. DHT11 Temperature & Humidity Sensor
4. 16x2 LCD Display with I2C Module
5. Jumper Wires
6. Breadboard
7. USB Cable for Arduino
Complete Wiring Diagram - Step by Step:
RTC Module (DFR0151) Connections:
• SDA → Arduino A4 (Yellow Wire)
• SCL → Arduino A5 (Green Wire)
• VCC → Arduino 5V (Red Wire)
• GND → Arduino GND (Black Wire)
LCD I2C Module Connections:
• SDA → Arduino A4 (Connect to same A4 as RTC)
• SCL → Arduino A5 (Connect to same A5 as RTC)
• VCC → Arduino 5V (Red Wire)
• GND → Arduino GND (Black Wire)
DHT11 Sensor Connections:
• DATA → Arduino Digital Pin 2 (Blue Wire)
• VCC → Arduino 5V (Red Wire)
• GND → Arduino GND (Black Wire)
Power Distribution:
• Connect all 5V pins together
• Connect all GND pins together
• Use breadboard power rails for neat wiring
Important Notes:
• RTC and LCD share the same I2C pins (A4, A5)
• DHT11 uses digital pin 2
• I2C address for LCD is usually 0x27 or 0x3F
• No resistors needed for DHT11 with this module
