Hawkin is a geologist with 8 years of experience in North America and Australia, and a year in software development with a Toronto start-up. He has expertise in resource estimation, production, and exploration of gold, lithium, rare earth elements, and nickel-copper-PGE. Before joining Datamine in February 2025, he held senior roles in the Kalgoorlie Goldfields, focusing on underground mining. Proficient in both implicit and explicit wireframing and various resource estimation techniques, he supports and trains users on Datamine’s resource modelling solutions, including Studio RM, Supervisor, and Studio Geo.
