BREASTFEED BEFORE GOING ON AN OUTING//
Today is the last day of National Breastfeeding Month. I do hope that setting aside the month of August as a time to raise awareness of breastfeeding will help give breastfeeding women more positive support and also raise breastfeeding rates around the world.
In this video, you can see a typical before-outing breastfeed with my sixteen-month-old son. I always offer Spencer a breastfeed before we go out because he is happier and more settled if he's had his milk first :)
Today he was also wanting to help me water the pot plants before we went out, which was very sweet.
I sincerely hope that by sharing my breastfeeding journey I can encourage other women to attempt and persist with, what can be at times, a difficult thing to do.
