Shanling UP5 review: the same M3X in a wireless DAC case

Overall, the Shanling UP5 wireless mobile DAC primarily impresses with its tiny dimensions and scope of delivery. The cover here is just a bomb. Of the minuses, the microphone was placed in a rather controversial place, the controls were all pushed to one button and the regulator here is in the form of a wheel that you can accidentally turn. Although this has never happened to me. And so, a huge number of settings, bluetooth with AptX HD and LDAC codecs, output power up to 240 mW at 32 ohm load, convenient application and, of course, just incredible sound for its form factor. With an excellent portrayal of the entire musical canvas, including in the depths of the stage, expressiveness, emotionality and, of course, just an amazing musical atmosphere, such as devices of a much higher price segment usually offer us. Yes, I would call the sound of the UP5 an adult, not some kind of masterpiece, but against the background of obviously primitive competitors, it evokes exclusively honor and respect. I definitely liked the device and I will be happy to recommend it.
