A1706 Damaged Thermal Sensor Repair
This is a very common thermal sensor that can rip off the logic board when removing the bottom case of a TouchBar MacBook Pro. In this video, I demonstrate a method created by Paul S from Rossmann Group on how to replace the damage thermal sensor and missing traces.
The main symptoms of a damaged thermal sensor is immediate fan spin on start up that gradually increases until it maxes out, and CPU throttling which will make the entire computer run slow.
