Native Instruments Massive X Review & Making Sounds
In this video, we take a deep dive into Native Instruments' Massive X, exploring its many features and demonstrating how to make sounds from scratch. Native Instruments has been a leader in the music software industry for years, and Massive X is one of their most powerful synths to date.
We start by taking a look at the interface and the various sections that make up the synth. The oscillator section offers many different waveforms to choose from, and we demonstrate how to use them to create a variety of sounds. The modulation section offers plenty of options for adding movement to your patches, and we explore some of the many modulation sources available in the synth.
Next, we take a look at the filters, envelopes, and LFOs, and demonstrate how to use them to create interesting and dynamic sounds. The effects section is also quite extensive, and we show how to use the reverb, delay, chorus, and other effects to shape your sounds.
One of the great things about Massive X is that it offers a variety of modes for different types of synthesis, including subtractive, wavetable, and FM. We explore some of these modes and show how to use them to create different types of sounds.
Finally, we put everything together and create a few sounds from scratch, demonstrating how to use the various sections of the synth to shape your patches
