This is a really cool easy extreme from a creator that I've never heard of before, but I'll definitely check out any future projects from them, since this level was an absolute blast to play!
While it looks like the gameplay might be awkward and unbalanced at a glance, many of the clicks that look like timings are actually just buffers (or are a lot easier than they appear), so there are a lot less tricky parts than you might think. For me, this made the whole experience a lot more fun, it was really satisfying to both learn and execute gameplay that looks incredibly hard, but ended up not being too bad after learning it.
As for the deco, the creator did a great job at matching the intensity of the song with the pulses and movements, and the block design and air deco is also super clean and pleasing to the eye.
One last thing that I wanted to include, before CLIP was finished, the creator uploaded a tutorial level that teaches you how to do the main gameplay mechanic of it, which is jumping off the corners of blocks. This level can be seen at the start of the video, and (I think) the deco for it is inspired by the practice gyms for the 2020 Spring Collab in the Celeste community. Although the tutorial level isn't super important to understand how to play CLIP (I only found it after I already beat the level), I think it's a really creative idea and definitely not something I've ever seen in the GD community! It would be cool to see something like this be used for more complicated custom mechanics or mechanics that are used in multiple levels from the same creator, but I appreciate its usage here nonetheless.
Enough rambling from me, super fun level, go play it now, thanks for watching! =]
