Storing apps and their data on these cards frees up valuable built-in memory for other tasks. The A1 class assures minimum performance under given conditions. The A1 symbol clearly communicates this new feature and helps manufacturers communicate device requirements to customers. Customers need only match the card to the device to know they have the right card for their device.
The A1 class delivers minimum performance Random Read IOPS access of 1500 per second, Write IOPS of 500 per second, Sustain Sequential speeds of at least 10 MB/sec.
