How to mix paint
It's critical that most paints (apart from non drip paints) are mixed correctly. The paint could have been sat on a shelf for months or years which can cause the chemical components to start separating. This can effect the paint's adhesion and also the finish of the paint. It is therefore essential to mix any paint properly, the easiest way to mix it is using a power drill and mixer paddle as shown in this video.
