Gregg Lowe had a choice where to attend college: Harvard University or Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. He chose Rose because “it’s a smaller community with a capital C.” The 1984 Electrical Engineering graduate served as CEO of Wolfspeed from 2017 to 2024, a company that makes power semiconductors out of silicon carbonate. Lowe helped lead the company’s efforts to revolutionize manufacturing and enable bluer skies, cleaner air and lower carbon emissions. And Rose-Hulman gave him the foundation to make that difference.
