Console commands are an extremely useful tool in Stellaris, allowing you to very quickly set up scenarios and figure out useful information about the game. While not everyone spends hours playing around with game mechanics to optimize their builds, I certainly do :P
In this video I show you how to use console commands to set up fleet tests and create a timelapse of the Prethoryn, Unbidden, and the Contingency fighting each other!
