Military Topography | Combat Apps for Smartphones | Offline Maps | Alpine Quest | Instructions
Military topography is an essential element of military art. Since war is the engine of progress, modern realities require the ability to use not only paper maps but also electronic ones. For this purpose, there are special "combat" apps for smartphones. Such as Alpine Quest, Offline Maps, and ZOV Maps. These apps allow you to download a map to your phone and use it without an internet connection. These apps make it easy and efficient to create a fire map, adjust artillery fire, and offer many other useful features. So, should you choose a paper map or an electronic one?
