All NEW Vehicles, Add-ons and Trailers in Season 16! | Snowrunner
SnowRunner is an off-road simulation game in which the player is tasked with delivering cargo, completing construction projects, and/or repairs in various locations, overcoming difficult terrain. The game features over 60 different vehicles from brands such as Ford, Chevrolet, and Freightliner, as well as over 15 locations.
The game features a damage system that includes both damage to the physical model and damage displayed in the user interface. Each region of the game is set after a disaster, whether natural, such as a flood, or man-made, such as a pipeline burst. Each location is located in a rural area of North America or Russia. The player earns money by completing certain missions, which can be spent on upgrades for current vehicles or better vehicles in general. Both usually make it easier for the player to traverse the game's terrain.
The game offers a mix of aesthetic and mechanical customizations, from changing the color of the player's vehicle to changing the type of tires on the vehicle or installing frame mounts. SnowRunner has a large selection of trucks, such as the Chevrolet Kodiak and the BAZ-6402; trucks found in regions of North America or Russia correspond to their origins. Mechanical upgrades to trucks usually require the player to reach a certain level of progression before purchasing and installing them.
The game is a sequel to MudRunner and was developed by Saber Interactive and published by Focus Home Interactive on April 28, 2020 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The game was also released for Nintendo Switch on May 18, 2021, and for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S on May 31, 2022.
