With over 5 miles of hiking trails, Jennings is a great place to get outdoors and enjoy and afternoon winter walk. Most trails all loop back to where you start. For the more adventuresome, a portion of the 3,200-mile North Country Trail national scenic trail passes through Jennings as well.
The 300 plus acre park is most famous for its prairie ecosystem discovered by Otto Emery Jennings in 1905, the blazing star flower and the endangered massasauga rattle snake.
