Hi, This is How two's
This is the video number 3 of the video editing series
In this video we are, going to see how you we are going to see how you can perform basic operations in Openshot.
So let's start.
Adding files in the editing tray.
Once you have imported your files in the project, to start editing, these files have to be added in the editing tray.
You can simply drag and drop these files in your desired tray one after the other like this
Slicing the video
There are two way using which, you can slice a video, which means to cut a video, One is by using the razor tool like this.
Select the razor tool, from here and then, move to the desired location, from where you want to slice the video, and simply,
click there, and as you can see, video has been sliced into two videos.
Another which is my way favorite way is by moving the seeker to your desired location and then right click and click on
slice. Here you can choose whether you want to keep both sides or any of the either left or right size. Select what you want and
as apparent, video has been cut
Copy/Paste files
You can also copy paste the files if you want the same files to be repeated one after the other. Simple select the file
that you want to copy, press ctrl and c and then where ever you want to paste just toggle the seeker there and press
ctrl v
Removing file from editing tray
To remove any file simply select that file and press delete from your keyboard.
To remove the files from the project itself, Right click on the files from your project files tab and then click on
Remove from Project
In the next video, we will see how you can add other audio in a video.
