Hello. In this video, I told you how I grew green onions on a windowsill at home. And now I want to share some helpful tips. If you want to have green onions on the table all the time, plant them at seven-day intervals. For example, plant 15 onions today, then plant another 15 onions seven days later, and so on. This way, you'll always have green onions on the table. Also, while growing, onions always stretch their green shoots toward the window, so to prevent them from growing to one side, I turned them five times. I grew a lot of onions at once to make something delicious with them, like green onion pies or placintas.

It's very important that after you've planted the onions in sawdust, the bag should never be closed. Keep the bag open at all times, otherwise fungus will grow in the sawdust and your onions will start to rot. Follow the instructions in the video; those 15 days fly by.
I used regular onion sets. You can use absolutely any onion. I only had 300 grams of onions, which I bought for 50 rubles. These onions cost 170 rubles per kg here.
And green onions cost 650 rubles per kg here. So it's also a good deal. The onions turned out delicious and juicy. I peeled them, washed them, and put them in a bag. Today I'm uploading this video, and this is already the fifth day I've been storing them in the refrigerator. They store very well. Growing onions at home is not difficult at all and is economical, in my opinion. You plant them and forget about them; you don't need to put in any special effort; the onions slowly grow on their own on the windowsill.
