Keyframes in Video Editing
Demonstration of simple 2-D animation in video editing k own as keyframing. Key framing is the way you make video elements grow, move, or change any one of a dozen attributes. Key frames involve marking 2 or more points within a shot, (points "A" and "B" if you will) and then defining the parameters for those points differently at each keyframe. The video then changes its characteristics when playing from point "A" to point "B" as you just defined. Keyframe editing is considered an advanced technique in video editing but it is really not difficult if you know how. Sometimes video editing programs will insert keyframes automatically. I personally usually prefer the manual approach as auto key framing can produce results on a computer would like! But it can be handy and is often a good first step. Then, you can go in and modify the auto keyframes for a better quality.
