O glorious Saint Martha, I run to your protection and aid, comfort me in my difficulties and intercede for my family with your intimate friend, our Savior, that we may always hold God in our hearts and be provided for in our necessities.
I ask you, Saint Martha, by your intercession to help me in overcoming all my difficulties and to teach me to become great in the Kingdom of Heaven by becoming as humble as you in this world. Amen.
O blessed St. Martha, your faith led Jesus to proclaim, "I am the resurrection and the life"; and faith let you see beyond his humanity when you cried out, "Lord I believe that you are the Messiah, the Son of God." With firm hope you said, I know that God will give you whatever you ask of him, and Jesus called your brother Lazarus back from the dead. With pure love for Jesus, you welcomed him into your home. Friend and servant of our Savior, I too am "troubled about many things." (Pause for silent prayer.)
Pray for me that I may grow in faith, hope and love, and that Jesus, who sat at your table, will hear me and grant me a place at the banquet of eternal life. Amen.
Oh Saint Martha, we know that you believed that Jesus Christ is the resurrection and life, we ask you to pray for us to your friend, our Lord Jesus Christ, so that he may raise us from the trap of the spiritual death we are in.
Oh Saint Martha, beg our Lord Jesus Christ to come and remain in our hearts so that we can remain alive in our souls both now and in the life to come after our physical death. Amen
St. Martha, pray for us.
