I've spent a lot of time with the PDP CM7 kit, experimenting with different heads and tunings to really see what it's capable of. And for the money, I think this is one of the most impressive mid-range maple kits currently available.
There's also a lot of genuine DW DNA throughout. The dual turret lugs have a very similar vibe to Drum Workshop hardware while still having their own identity, and the snare comes fitted with the DW MAG throwoff - exactly the same one found on all Drum Workshop snares.
