Being able to split panes in your editor is necessary to improve your workflow and increase efficiency when using your editor.

In this video I show you how to split panes in the Pulsar Text Editor. I show you how to split panes right, left, up, and down and two different ways to do it. I first show you how to use the command palette to split panes and then I show you the keychords (keyboard shortcuts) to split panes. You'll eventually want to use the keyboard shortcuts as they will vastly improve your efficiency and increase your workflow, saving you time.

After showing you how to open panes with keyboard shortcuts and how to navigate between panes, I also show you how to close panes and how to change your focus to a certain file when you are in a pane. Finally, I'll show you how to use the command palette to discover keyboard shortcuts to be able to manipulate panes in the Pulsar Text Editor.

After this video you'll be able to navigate through panes in the Pulsar Text Editor with speed and increased focus, modifying multiple files at once!
