A water-based polyurethane clear tile sealer is especially well suited for such areas as entryways, bathrooms, kitchens, hallways, and other areas where high traffic and exposure to water and dirt might make other materials less practical. Polyurethanes are tough, durable very UV resistant so will not yellow even in direct sunlight. Other key benefits include chemical resistant, highly water and stain resistant and they can be supplied in matte, satin and high gloss finish. It is important to make sure the polyurethane tile sealer is formulated to bond to ceramic tile. Products are available with adhesion promoters for that purpose.
