Never Thought You'd Homeschool? | me either.
In the last 48 hours, I've had four conversations with different friends struggling with what to do for the 2021-2022 school year.
They are in different camps.
Some aren't comfortable sending kids to a school that is masking, some aren't okay sending their children to a school that isn't masking. And some are concerned that kids will be sent back home a few days or weeks into school.
One statement has been common in these conversations, and I so resonate with it. Because I had always said the same thing.
"I could never homeschool."
So, I wanted to make a video and share the five things I wish I had known when I found myself, the never homeschooler, considering homeschool.
1. Throw your perceptions in the garbage.
2. Take it one day at a time.
3. Stay in your own lane.
4. Put relationship first.
5. Yes you can.
