Understand and work with clearing floated columns
Who has floated columns on a web page only to find that they pop out of the div or container they are in? Forever and a day we used HTML like a break or other to force the container to contain the floated columns. In this tip, I'll show you how we use a clearing hack that is cleaner and doesn't force us to insert HTML.
