On July 15 1240 Alexander Nevski, a speech to his men:
Brothers, we are few and the enemy is strong, but God is not in force but the Truth. Remember the words of the Creator of the Psalms: ... 'those in cars, those on horseback, and we invoke the name of God' ... Do not amedrentéis by the number of combatants, because God is with us.
On July 15 1240 Alexander attacked the Swedes on the river and won the battle
