In the absence of any form of "determination" nouns float freely in referential space. Then some form of limitation and grounding occurs.
Grammar in Motion was designed to present English Grammar through a combination of visuo-kinetic imagery (KineGrams) and metaphorical descriptions (LogoGrams) of abstract phenomena. The original DVD comes free with the French edition of LA GRAMMAIRE ANGLAISE EN MOUVEMENT, Paris: Hachette, 2005. Students and teachers in public education are welcome to download and use a sample of the videos posted on Youtube in instructional or research settings, for non-commercial purposes. We advise you to make screencaptures of meaningful stances / moves that may encapsulate aspects of grammatical meaning. Powerful visual concepts may thus be created. Your comments and suggestions are welcome and may be addressed directly to the author (Pr. Jean-Rémi LAPAIRE, Universite Bordeaux-Montaigne, France).
