Sweep Mesh - Model Cords, Ropes, and Wires [Maya 2022]
This is a course update lesson for the Maya for Beginners course which can be seen in its entirety at https://digitalcreatorschool.com Previously you would need to extrude a face along a curve, Mayas 2022 update to include an entirely new function called Sweep Mesh provides a much cleaner way to model ropes, wires, and Cords.
I incorrectly say 'I don't know how you'd do this before' in regards to the taper - what I was referring to was the profile of the taper. You could control taper before, but not with a custom profile like this, just fyi.
