ferkung plays through an abbreviated history of live-action Laserdisc and VHS games using the Singe emulator.

0:00 - Hello Parser People!

10:03 - Adventures in Videoland / Rollercoaster (1982)
The first Laserdisc game, published originally in Creative Computing Magazine in 1982. Obviously more of a tech demo than an actual game, its a small Apple II-era text adventure with cutscenes attached to it pulled from the 1977 movie Rollercoaster.

1:16:07 - Space Pirates (1992)
If folks don't think of Dragon's Lair when they think of Laserdisc arcade games, they think of lightgun games. American Laser Games was one of the most prolific developers of Laserdisc games, mostly focused on rails-based lightgun games. Space Pirates was a later entry but has all the hallmarks of the genre.

2:09:13 - The Rescue of Pops Ghostly (1987)
A weird cul-de-sac of history, the Action Max was a VHS-based lightgun game system. It's a system that obviously I know VERY little about but I'm intrigued by the limitations of the medium.
