The plot of Kızılcık Şerbeti in brief:
Kıvılcım (Evrim Alasya), a well-educated, realistic, and modern woman, has stood strong after her divorce and raised her two daughters according to her values. Her younger daughter, Çimen (Selin Türkmen), is still in high school, while her older daughter, Doğa (Sıla Türkoğlu), is studying dentistry at university. Kıvılcım's only wish is to see her children succeed and be happy in the future. She experiences a great disappointment when Doğa marries her boyfriend in her first year of university, and the shock of her life comes when her daughter meets her husband's family. Doğa's husband, Fatih (Doğukan Güngör), comes from a conservative family. They believe their daughter won't be able to get along with a family that has such different perspectives on life. Doğa, however, believes their love will overcome all differences. It is a love story caught between two opposing families who share the same truths but differ in their methods.
