Rocks, pepper spray, and a ton of obscenities—this is the simple arsenal some Krasnodar youth have in their fight against security guards who are honestly trying to protect the abandoned Equator water park in the Gidrostroiteley microdistrict.
Krasnodar residents are concerned about the hordes of children and teenagers who are systematically trying to break into this obviously dangerous facility.
We arrived and tried to figure out what attracts children to these dangerous abandoned slides and the challenges faced by guarding the water park.
CCTV cameras, dogs, 24-hour security...
Intrusion attempts and, as a result, law enforcement dispatches, filing reports, and involving juvenile affairs officers.
We even found out how and from where the children are trying to sneak into this coveted abandoned place, and of course, we couldn't help but ask the city administration: why is the area adjacent to the water park unguarded at all, and who owns it? Considering that it bears all the hallmarks of a blatant homeless shelter in the middle of the forest in the center of Gidrostroi.
Details in the report.
Sincerely, Igor Shcherbatsky - blogger, journalist.
