What is tillage
जुताई (Tillage) किस प्रकार मिट्टी की ढेलों को तोड़ती है, मिट्टी के संघनन को कम करती है और वायु संचार बढ़ाती है।
जुताई से पानी का अवशोषण बढ़ता है तथा जड़ों की वृद्धि बेहतर होती है।
उचित जुताई पद्धतियाँ मिट्टी की संरचना, रंध्रता (Porosity) और तापमान में सुधार करती हैं, जिससे मिट्टी अधिक उपजाऊ और उत्पादक बनती है।
साथ ही, इस वीडियो में अच्छी जुताई के लिए आदर्श मिट्टी की नमी की स्थिति भी बताई गई है, जो उपलब्ध मिट्टी नमी की 25–50% कमी (DASM) होती है।
