In this tutorial, we explore how to use a Lookup Table inside an Expression Set in Salesforce OmniStudio.
We’ll walk through a practical example where the player name is passed as the input, and the Expression Set fetches the player’s IPL 2025 statistics such as total runs, matches, average, balls faced and strike rate.

We’ll also see how to run the Expression Set Simulation to test the logic and verify that the Lookup Table is correctly returning outputs based on the input player name.

🔑 What you’ll learn in this video:

What Lookup Tables are in OmniStudio Expression Sets

How to configure Lookup Tables for input-output mapping

Using a player name as the input field

Returning IPL 2025 statistics as output values

Running and testing with Expression Set Simulation

This is a great hands-on use case for Salesforce Admins, Developers, and Consultants who want to learn decisioning with Expression Sets in real projects.
