Mounting the plug on the antenna cable
Connecting the antenna cable to the plug (F-type connector)
You will need:
Antenna cable
Cutters
Utility knife
Plug
1. Indent the cable 13-15 mm and use a utility knife to make a neat cut in the top insulation, being careful not to damage the next layer.
2. Bend the braid.
3. Cut off the foil and press the remaining foil against the cable.
3. Indent the cable 2-3 mm and make a cut in the inner insulation.
4. Remove the insulation.
5. Screw the F-type connector onto the center conductor.
6. Trim the center conductor and screw on the plug (socket).
