Oh yes ... I often look out for new Russian (and other style) songs to sing. I love doing the chores and play Russian romance playlists via my TV. And thus I get to know these "new" romances. I don't know whether it's right in English to say "romance". In Russian a "romance" (романс) is a word for typical Russian love songs. When I started learning Russian I didn't like them because I never was the romantic type (though growing up with Disney movies), but since I learned more and more about Russian language (and soul) I learned to like this kind of music. Meanwhile I can proudly say: To me Russian language is the language of love :3 The words, the pronunciation, the meaning of the words, the grammar ... it's all so tender and loving! But I know that my German friends (or followers with other mother tongues) can't do anything with it cause they don't "understand" that language or my love to it. But that's the point! Things I cannot express in German or English or which I am ashamed to express - to show the deepness of my feelings or such things - I can express the best in Russian language! It's hard to explain XD I love German language too, but we have not that touching songs, or at least I don't know them. I hope my honey, мой мёд, won't be angry that he doesn't understand a word I am singing :3 :3 :3

I am going to go on learning Russian in January in Potsdam. I hope it will take place (Corona still goes on ...). I NEED to learn it cause in my Russian choir they all speak only Russian and I always nod and smile and think by myself "WTF are they talking about - I don't understand a word!!" Okay, it's singing exercises and so but still ... БЛИН! And I need to improve my grammar :3 Grammar, grammar, I love grammar )))
