Dont starve, and dont starve together is an indie game created by the franchise Klei. In it involves a group of survivors surviving in a world known as the constant where bizarre creatures such as pigmen, giant spiders, and treeguards. Everybody knows about the sigma girlboss Winona and her remarkably powerful cheesepult turrets as they allow her to turbo cheese pretty much anyboss that can be confined to a single area. However did you know that there is actually another turret that any player can craft?
Enter the houndius shootius, a rather bizarre creation that is crafted in the ancient ruins after killing both the ancient guardian and a deerclops, spawns a turret at the players desired location that will then attack not only hounds, but any hostile mob the player locks on to. The houndius shootius is actually rather powerful in this regard, capable of slowly vaporizing entire endgame hound waves if the player simply kites around it and can even help a bit with bosses.
However, the Houndius Shootius is still considered a mob and can be killed, and seeing as to how it requires an ancient guardians horn and a deerclops eyeball, it makes it one of the most expensive items in the ancient crafting tab. Keep in mind you can make multiple turrets as all its materials are renewable with the horn being the hardest. And how do you renew the horn I hear you ask?
