Chain stretching in gasoline and electric saws. Causes and solutions.
Absolutely all saw chains are subject to stretching. This problem is comparable to the problem of poorly machined cutting links from unscrupulous manufacturers.
What factors cause this process? What else influences the rate of chain stretching, besides the lubricating oil, the abundance of which often doesn't prevent stretching?
