Five years ago today, world leaders signed the Paris Agreement, a promise from all nations of the world, to take action on the climate crisis.
But since then, very little meaningful action has taken place.
Carbon majors, mostly from the Global North, continue to emit huge amounts of greenhouse gasses, while the Global south experiences the impacts of the climate crisis.
Instead of meaningful climate action we have received nothing but empty promises by our leader. If this remains the same, these agreements are nothing but empty promises.
So until they start acting, until we achieve climate justice, we will keep fighting.
