Can you make Pottery Clay from Dirt?
Yes. Yes you can. As the first episode of our pottery series, we refine a test sample of clay from the local dirt by screening out the rocks and then dissolving the dirt in water. I then waited for the sand to settle out and scraped it off the bottom. Then the clay water was allowed to settle out.
