About the C922 Webcam
The c922 webcam from Logitech is designed for streamers on Youtube and Twitch to give HD quality video for use on OBS or X Split.
This unboxing is my second one C922. My first one, used to film the video, is a couple of years old and has performed flawlessly. This second C922 webcam is for a different computer.
I found the cheapest price for the C922 was from Amazon with free shipping (see link above). Cheaper than from JB HiFi and Harvey Norman.
The C922 does have the ability to provide its own background removing, but I have found it is easier to use the chroma key green screen feature of OBS instead as it uses less CPU than the C922's inbuilt background remover.
I generally only use it in 720 mode, where I think its clarity is more than most need anyway. But you can resize to suit yourself in OBS or X Split.
All up, I highly recommend the C922 as THE Go-To Webcam for people who want to record videos with cam insert, cam only, stream on YouTube or Twitch, or who want to Skype
