Hermes V8MT – The First Drone Air Bridge Over Warsaw | Spartaqs Group
On November 17, 2020, the Hermes V8MT transport dronoid, designed and manufactured by Spartaqs Group, made history once again.
After its first successful medical transport over Warsaw earlier that year, Hermes returned to the skies — this time connecting the temporary hospital at PGE Narodowy Stadium with the Central Clinical Hospital of the Ministry of Interior and Administration (MSWiA).
This historic mission created Poland’s first drone air bridge, proving the reliability and precision of Polish drone technology.
Hermes V8MT completed a 15 km route (7.5 km each way) in just 12 minutes, safely delivering medical test samples fully autonomously in BVLOS mode.
The flight demonstrated Hermes’ heavy-duty capabilities, including:
• resistance to wind, rain, and snow,
• redundant propulsion system for safe emergency handling,
• modular cargo bays for various payload types,
• full integration with the DST – Dronoid Transport System.
Part of the DST project, Hermes V8MT represents a new wave of Polish innovation — creating a nationwide drone transport network for medical and commercial logistics.
