The '60s and '70s were a great time for outdoor leisure activities and beach buggies were all the rage. Built off of a reliable easily maintained VW pan and drive train it's easy to see why these were a great choice for recreational automobiles. The 1600cc flat-four VW engine was rather peppy and once you remove all of the sheet metal and put a lightweight fiberglass body on top and you have the makings of something very quick. This 1970 VW Dune Buggy has a nice Green exterior in great condition, with a black interior. The fun Manx style buggy we have at our Ft. Lauderdale showroom is equipped with a rebuilt 1600cc engine, with only 255 miles since the rebuild and 4-speed transmission. Shifting through the gears is simple as can be. Sporting new wheels and tires this 1970 Volkswagen Dune Buggy is a blast to zoom around in. For true fun in the sun, it doesn't get much more nostalgic or entertaining than a Manx style buggy.
