Updated 3/18/21 at 620am EDT: .****INCREDIBLY CLOSE**** lightning strike at 11:28 into the video with an instantaneously deafening thundercrash....if you wanna get to it quickly...mouseclick the 11:00 mark...In my videotaping Tstorms ever since 6/2/89..I NEVER EVER had a closeby lightning strike as close as what you see/hear/feel HERE at the 11:28 mark!! Check out the scared-bird flying away from the big tree behind my neighbor's house right when the thunder CRASHES too..! What's even more insane...was exactly 40 years earlier to the same day of this amazing video here.., 7/13/77...NYC was plunged into a billion dollar blackout all from lightning strikes to the major power lines/power plant that powered the Big Apple....you heard/read right...!! Pretty preposterous, I say.
