How to fix Slime Fume frezzing/Toxic Gunk glitch Goosebumps Horrorland AetherSX2 Ps2emulator android
Today in this video i will show you how to fix these 2 glitches i encountered. for each glitch i will show what the glitch is, how to fix it, and gameplay for proof that you can fix it. I recently did a 100% completion of Goosebumps Horrorland on April 24th and of course I ran into 2 gliches. the first glitch was pretty hard to fix that I didn't even think I would be able to fix it, but I fixed it thanks to a youtube video made by Tech Reactor. the second glitch was pretty easy to fix witch didn't take long.
The tablet used in this video is a Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 with a Snapdragon 662.
The Circle Exclamation Point is where the In Game Settings are.
the first glitch is when why try to go into Slime Fume it will freeze at a certain point preventing you from progressing. how you fix that is first you go to into game settings then go to VU Clamp Mode and set it to "Extra" Then exit the game go back in the game to refresh it. when you go into Slime Flume it will allow you to play it completely. you can leave the setting on after that game or put it back to default if you like. you can skip to 6:21 if you want to see the next glitch fix right away.
the second glitch is in Toxic Gunk when you are in the game after the first 2 sets of targets the other sets just try to troll you basically, which prevents you from getting your target meter filled up to dunk the horror. how to fix that is go into game settings then set optimal/safe defaults, if you end up having a bit of frame issues then put EE Cycle Rate (Underclocking) to 75% (-1), and put EE Cycle Skip (Underclocking) to Moderate Underclock (2) to reduce the frame issue. exit the game to restart it then see if your having any frame issues, if you are having frame issues do the other 2 settings listed above. when you go back into Toxic Gunk you will be able to play the game completely and all sets of targets will show up properly. once you get Gold on Toxic Gunk though wait for the auto save then exit the game. it is recommended you CLEAR all settings in the in game settings so you don't mess up the emulation for yourself later on. then exit the game again after clearing those settings so your game can run properly.
This fix will most likely work for these devices listed below
Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 (Snapdragon 662)
Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 (Snapdragon 652)
Samsung Galaxy S4 (Snapdragon 600)
these are devices within similar processor class (600 - 700 Snapdragon) witch makes it most likely to work for these lower end devices. there is probably more devices within similar class of processor but these are just a few examples. this was done on actual research.
(this is a Opinion) if you have a Snapdragon over 750 then you will probably be less likely to run into these glitches. if you still run into at least one of the glitches then you are welcome to try the tutorial.
(somewhat an opinion) if you have a Snapdragon bellow 600 you will probably have a harder time running the emulation even on unsafe/fast defaults.
