The best advice I can give to anyone starting out as a graphic designer or any kind of creative has nothing to do with skills, or their work, or their clients. It's to create a system to collect inspiration early on. Look at a lot of great stuff, and make it useful to you so that you can refer back to it later. It may not seem like the most important thing, but that one habit will help everything else you want to do for the rest of your creative career. Whether you're gathering inspiration on Pinterest, Notion, or any other platform - you have to make a system to save inspiration when it comes.
