60 Second Movie Review: Prey
Prey is the prequel to The Predator series. It's about a skilled Comanche warrior in 1712 who protects her tribe from a highly evolved alien Predator that hunts humans for sport finding the wilderness dangerous colonizers and this mysterious creature to keep her people safe.
The film is directed by Dan Trachtenberg and it also Stars Amber Midthunder Dakota Beavers and Dane Diliegro as the alien.
I enjoyed Prey the sound editing made you feel like you were in the forest. the love between the characters felt very real. the story did not feel like indigenous people were being used as props it felt like it was authentic and real and they had great consultants.
This was a very well done movie I would absolutely recommend it 9 out of 10
I watch this on Hulu but I would have absolutely seen it in the theaters
