We are given a complicated algebraic expression and we find its equivalent.
To do it quickly, I use 2 hacks: 1)write a constant as a fraction dividing it by 2) convert denominator of fraction as 1 into k by multiplying this fraction by (k/k).
This does not change value of the fraction, but converts it into a fraction with denominator 1 such that we can now add the 2 fractions with denominators k.
